Software Engineer Senior

Design and implement software solutions, both individually and as part of a team. Help maintain and enhance existing products, define and implement new solutions, assist in troubleshooting customer issues, collaborate on software designs, and build scripting utilities. Experience in the full software lifecycle is required in providing functional specifications, requirements and usage.
Candidates must have: Strong, proven development and troubleshooting skills; Solid understanding of Linux and other realtime OS internals; Systems software expertise in developing modular software for embedded software applications; C language, system design, and debugging skills; Knowledge of software packaging; Experience designing software APIs and “make files” in complex build environments; Competence in the areas of software process and process tools; Strong problem-solving and communication skills required, with ability to work harmoniously in a dynamic group.

Software Quality Assurance Engineer I

In the role of Software Quality Assurance Engineer, this person will be responsible for developing, publishing, and implementing test plans. This person will write and maintain test automation as well as develop quality assurance standards. The Software Quality Engineer will define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. This position requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience coding in C and C++. The candidate will be assigned to train the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) Battalion Command Post Node (BnCPn) and the Ku Band satellite at the Fort Gordon Resident School. He/She will be responsible for supporting system installation, operation, management and maintenance of the BnCPn, Ku Band satellite and associated component equipment. The candidate will provide formal instruction on the BnCPn, Ku Band satellite and associated equipment, in accordance with ARMY and TRADOC standards. Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring the maintenance, operation and performance of Ku and Ka-Band Mobile Terminals
Personnel selected will be assigned to various locations in CONUS and OCONUS supporting the SATCOM UHT and various SATCOM Terminal Trailer configurations.

This position is seeking a strong technical contributor as an individual software leader and designer in the development of military C2 Training environments using Simulation and Stimulation.
