Member of the Operations and Integrated Logistics Support team related to the Rescue 21 project, performing field related support activities. Contribute to detailed planning efforts for the USCG Rescue 21 System Support and Maintenance efforts. These System Support and Maintenance planning efforts include several unique geographically remote fixed facilities in the Continental United States and United States Territories. The remote fixed facilities include islands, Military bases, restricted access areas and very remote geographical areas. As assigned, contribute to the development of support strategies including personnel required, material sparing, cost impacts, availability calculation, cost benefit analysis and sub-contractor support strategies. The goal is to mature this role into leading projects using groups of operations team members, central support team members, and engineering support team members within a formal work break down structure for the USCG Rescue 21 System Support and Maintenance program. Manage overall tasks assigned according to business / project requirements, policies and procedures. As assigned, work with other team members to establish metrics and measurements to monitor performance to established processes and procedures. Assists in project/program tasks related to specific ILS elements. Provides ILS input to project/program plans and proposals. Supports other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements. Defines, reviews and tests system requirements for enhancements/modifications for supportability. Mentors lower level team members in technical and interpersonal skills as required. Leads the review, development and modification of procedures and products for one or more ILS functions. Trains internal/external customers regarding procedures and processes and software applications. Support internal audits and development and review of corrective action plans. The systems analyst position is located at the General Dynamics facility in Huntsville, AL. The systems analyst will serve as 1) the TBC logistics team’s technical lead for TBC hardware configuration and management and 2) the liaison between the CECOM Software Engineering Center (SEC) and the PM Tactical Battle Command/GDC4S logistics team. The individual will perform system set-up and configuration, documentation of hardware set-up and configuration procedures, requirements analysis, and hardware/software specification analysis for command, control, communications and computer systems. The ideal candidate will be capable of analyzing tactical battle command system hardware and software developments/changes and assessing the impact on logistics requirements, training products and other technical documentation.
Experience with military command, control, communications and computer systems is required. Experience with the Maneuver Control System and the Battle Command Common Services (BCCS) servers is a plus. The logistics systems analyst is also expected to interface directly with government customers/users to maintain a high level of confidence and satisfaction relative to the logistics products and support we provide. The logistics systems analyst will have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical HW/SW computer issues and document their resolution. A working knowledge of networks and cabling is required. He/she must be customer focused both internally and externally and have the ability to provide technical training/guidance to all team members as required. Familiarity with the following logistics products is desired: Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC), military technical manuals and bulletins, training support packages and curriculum.
4 year technical degree or equivalent related functional experience (15 years). Minimum 6 years experience supporting C4 or other computer/electronics systems. Mounted on a HMMWV, MOTS is a highly mobile Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower that offers the latest in ruggedized air traffic services including, secure communications, precision location information, runway lighting, night vision compatibility and basic weather information. Deployable in multiple configurations, it supports operations at military or civilian airfields and tactical landing zones for up to three ATC operators and one supervisor. The system is also air ransportable by UH-60 and C-130 aircraft.
“MOTS will provide air traffic controllers with the critical capability of quickly establishing air traffic services for Army Aviators. MOTS also includes a Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) workstation for the supervisor position inside the MOTS shelter. TAIS provides visualization in four dimensions for increased situational awareness, airspace deconfliction and fratricide avoidance.

Planning/Inventory Control
• Champion the execution and deployment of Jabil’s standard planning and inventory strategies and systems with the customer where possible, and implement customized solutions where necessary.
• Drive a systematic process to receive, evaluate and fulfill customer demand across the business unit.
• Ensure that an achievable Master Schedule is in place to support both customer requirements and Jabil revenue projections. In developing a solid MPS, consideration should be given to materials availability, equipment capability/capacity and staffing.
• Ensure that the Master Production Schedule is loaded in alignment with customer contract(s) and liability agreements so that the materials team maintains conformance to Jabil’s “Rules of the Road.”

• Evaluate the need for buffer inventory during the transfer process.

• Generate and analyze inventory reports for internal business unit and / or customer use.

Supply Chain Management
• Clearly and regularly communicate the customer’s needs to Commodity Management, Operations Materials Management and the Business Unit Buyers to ensure that Jabil provides supply chain solutions that foster success.
• Manage the periodic (typically quarterly) materials quotation cycle for Business Unit Strategic Commodities. Assist in executing the RFQ as appropriate for the business unit.
• Identify and facilitate the qualification of new, alternate and/or localized suppliers for Business Unit Strategic commodities.
• Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and advanced supply chain optimization programs such as supplier-owned inventory, Just-in-Time delivery schedules, reduced lead times and cancellation terms, return privileges, and EDI/SIS demand communication with Jabil’s Business Unit Strategic suppliers.
• Working in concert with Jabil’s Commodity Management Team, recommend customer BOM pricing at the component level that promotes Jabil’s competitiveness in the marketplace while simultaneously achieving Jabil’s Materials Price Variance (MPV) goals.
• In collaboration with Commodity Management, lead the effort to obtain full commodity and sourcing control of both Jabil Strategic and Business Unit Strategic commodities.
• Through early design involvement and qualification of alternate suppliers on existing products, promote the use of Jabil’s Strategic Suppliers.
• Focus on achievement of Jabil’s MPV and Inventory Turns goals.
Customer Service
